FSU vs. OU Tix For Sale

Post by Scoop Sea »

My buddy's mother in law passed away yesterday (insert joke line here, except this is actually sad but true) and in turn, he will not be using our two extra season tickets we purchase for our kids as planned. I'm not really interested in taking my kids to this night game, as I suspect that a day of tailgating may lead to some questionable sights for them....Before putting the tickets on Stubhub, Craigslist, etc. I thought I would post them here hoping to find a decent person wanting to purchase them.

So, here's the catch, I would prefer that the buyer be a BBFN Site Sponsor and they need to give me their word that they themselves are going to use the tickets. Why a BBFN Site Sponsor? Well, to my knowledge, Tom hasn't ever said you have to pay a certain amount to be a Site Sponsor, rather he has solicited donations to keep the Site going. In turn, there's really no reason for folks not being Site Sponsors in my humble opinion, but that's just me. My thought is this: if you are commited enough to support this Site we all enjoy as a Site Sponsor and you are willing to give your word that you aren't going to "flip" these tickets and use them yourself, then I believe you probably fall in that decent category and my wife and I won't have any problems with you sitting beside us at the game.

The tickets are in Section 36, Row 60 on the Alumni Side. It's a pair of tickets with the seats beside each other. I am only asking for the face value for the BBFN folks ($75 each). If I end up posting them on Stubhub, etc. then that will change, but keeping with the decency theme, I'm not looking to stick it to any of the folks associated with this Site.

As this situation just arose within the last 24 hours and I would like to sell these tickets soon, please let me know at your earliest convenience.

Chris

Oh yeah, one more catch, just because you might be decent, it doesn't mean I am.....  Just kidding.

The tickets are being purchased by Smeseroll. As you can denote from his tag line, he is a Site Sponsor   and he has given his word that he will be using the tickets, so all should be good to go. Thanks Smeseroll.

I still want to encourage those that haven't contributed to the upkeep of this Site to take the opportunity to become a Site Sponsor. No, this isn't an advertisement pushed by Tom through me (in fact, although I have met Tom on a few occassions, I'm not sure we could pick each other out in a crowd), I just think that if you enjoy the Site and gain from the wealth of knowledge, humor, and insight provided by the folks on the Site, then the right thing to do is ensure the Site keeps going. That's all, nothing more, nothing less. (OK, a little more: IMHO: it does kinda smell a little when somebody joins and their first post is to list something for sale, or to respond to something for sale....., why the heck didn't you join the site before, you don't have to be a Site Sponsor to sign up and its obvious you like the Site, so quit the stalking and come on in, the water's fine :-) ). Alright, I'm hopping off my stump now.

Go Noles............
