St. Marks river Trout

I'm pretty sure if there was a magazine called "Short Trout Monthly" , I would be on the cover. Using live shrimp, mirrolures and the occasional gulp. Few days ago it was 6 trout to 20 lady fish. Yesterday it was 12 trout all under 13"...any advice or tips y'all wanna share? Till then, tight lines.

Move ! Change spots, I always have heard that if your catching shorts pack up and move. Although I have gulp on the boat, I am not a fan, I think they produce shorts.

i remember one cold morning first tourment n,f,g,f,c about 2years ago i called a buddy ,lit's fish together he didnot want to go were i wanted to go he stay home i won the tourment big fish most wait i had gulp ,mullet ,shrimp,i had ever thing i was ready well he's my secert to catch the big fish a 10 in by 2in t-shit i told my secert now ever will catch big fish if you use it dont give up

My buddy and I fished above the power plant last Friday. Caught a ton of small mangrove snapper, a few small speckled trout, one red, and an assortment of other fishies (pinfish, grunt, ladyfish, etc.). We did get on the sand/silver trout pretty heavy, caught 22 really nice ones.

I'm glad we got out early and were able to leave before lunch because the river was getting crowded with boats, mostly polite folks but it only takes a couple of rude ones to ruin my day.
