Lake Iamonia

Post by filetandrelease »

How are the water levels on Lake Iamonia? I haven't been in about 2 months, but I heard they are pretty low.

That's what I was afraid of. I heard some people weren't even able to launch a boat. Thanks for the report.

NO, IT IS STILL GOING DOWN, HAVE TO GO OUT IN THE LAKE BED ABOUT 100 YRDS. BEFORE YA GET TO THE WATER AND THEN IT IS TOO SHALLOW TO LAUNCH A JON BOAT.

Yeah it's very low. I backed my trailer into the water about 25 yards, and the boat was well above the water line. Carrying your boat to the water from the trailer is about the only way you can launch right now.

YEP, MIGHT GET A KAYAK TO FLOAT AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT IN IT.
THERE WERE ABOUT 25 PEOPLE SITTING IN CHAIRS OUT PAST THE LILLIE PAD LINE FISHING TUES. WHEN I WENT DOWN TO SEE IF I COULD LAUNCH MY 18 FT. JON BOAT, NO WAY COULD I LAUNCH.
