Shell Point 6/18 (trout trout trout)

Post by JT74 »

Wow what a day. My buddy and I put in at shell point around 10:30 (running late) Worked my way over to Live oak/ goose creek. First cast "bam" keeper trout. Let him go for karma sake and kept at it. Working a ct with shrimp and fish bites and I couldnt stop them.

Total for the day:

11 trout (only two shorts) only kept 4 for dinner
3 cats (hey its a fish)
3 lady's (jump one more time for me please)

Stayed at that pace till around 3:30. Headed over to sping creek for a fresh dip in the cold hole, and to try and stir up some reds. Thunder storm started to build up so we decide we had just about enough luck for one day.

Going back out tomorrow, small brown John boat my girl (yeah shes a bit peeved she had to work and not catch any) and our dog. Give us a shout if you see us out.

Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.
