SGI - April 7

Post by Terrier »

Fished SGI from 8:30AM - 2:30PM today. The Youth Camp boat ramp was too windy:

so I crossed over to Ratllesnake Cove where it was calmer. Had good activity from about 9:30 to 10:30 at the old pier pilings:
13" flounder
22.5" trout
18" trout
croaker
2 ladyfish

Spent the next 3 hours trying to buy a strike elsewhere in the cove and over at the ramp but got nothing. Returned to the pilings and got a nice 17" flounder. Everything was caught on a white/pink/chartreuse marabou and ostrich clouser.

Mmmm, trout-stuffed flounder. :lick:
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
