A night out with your best friend making fun of each others foibles.. Priceless. :smt058

Trying this boat thing on Sunday. Grouper fishing with a co-worker, maybe I won't fall out of the boat and get eaten by a shark?!? :o

Sounds like you survived.

Don't go on the boat! You'll get caught by the IWANA monster. You'll sell everything you have to buy a boat. If you do go on the boat, don't come back saying you weren't warned.
What was I supposed to do today?

TC,

I was caught by the IWANA monster early last summer. A friend and I were out a Carabell and we ended up playing at a little marina they had out there. We were taking a guided tour of a $1.9 million boat. It was incredible, slept 6 comfotably, had a whole lot of cool toys on it and above all it would have been great for fishing a couple of hundred miles out. I think it was about 40 feet. That was when I was caught by the IWANA monster. Alas I've had to reign it in and let it subside since I don't make anywhere near enough to get that kind of financing. Perhapse someday in the distant future I may be able to afford a little $30,000 boat, but until then I have to rely and the grasiousness of friend wanting to pay their gas bill and letting stragglers pay to come along. Thanks for the warning anyway.

Talk to you later,

Jeff
