Boat Insurance ?

Post by mjsigns »

I am planning on purchasing a new or slightly used boat in the near future. Anyone have any preferences, or suggestions to point me in the right direction?
Your input would be greatly apreciated.. :o

Thanks-

I have progressive insurance on my boat. Haven't had to file any claims yet, so I really can't speak for their service. But, they have a lot of good options and the best rates that I could find. They also reduce the deductable by a certain percentage (5% I think) every year you don't have a claim.
You can get a quote from their website, but I'd also talk to an agent that sells progressive.....you'll usually get a better rate.

Same here with Progressive. Have not filed a claim, and they decrease the deductable each year.
