Heave to and prepare to be boarded?! (Introduction)

Post by RumDrum »

Or just toss me back over board just make sure I've got a beer in hand if I'm going in the drink!

My name's Chris, or RumDrum (as I'm known on Florida Sportsman/GCFC/THT and a few other forums) though I'll answer to almost anything...
Found the site before we actually moved here; but I finally got around to registering tonight. My family and I just recently moved to Tallahassee from Pensacola, Fl. We all enjoy fishing and spending time outdoors and are looking forward to getting to know the local waterways and such. We haven't been on too many trips this year yet, I think that will change now that summers here. We look forward to seeing reports and pictures and learning what we can pick up from folks who know the areas/waters well around here.

I am hoping to get back into some freshwater action as I really haven't done much in that regard since moving to Florida years ago (The occasional trip to one of the FWC lakes in Escambia/Santa Rosa Co or Escambia River being the exception). For the last few years I've primarily fished inshore (light and UL tackle) with a few excursions to blue water on a friends boat and such. Surf/Pier fishing is also something I enjoy.

Anywho, I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself and say hello! :smt006
