Been fishing my entire life, but never in Florida. Want to head down to St. George Island and give it a shot. Probably going to take an 8wt rod with WFF line, just looking for fly recommendations and maybe a tip on which parts of the island are good for fishing (for those unfortunate enough not to have a boat). The only thing I'm opposed to catching is a shark. Any tips?
Thanks.

If he still works there, talk to Cletus at Island Outfitters. He works the fishing counter in the back
Good luck!
