First Black drum

Post by onefishtwofish »

Never caught one before. Had some caught in the boat, just not me.

I started with a big one. Nice fight, about 20 minutes in some good current. Fun fight. Stout rascal.

This morning. I figured it was no great secret where I was-I usually black out the background if there is any secrecy, most of us know where to look for them. We just had been having no joy with the reds, so thought we would try one of these big boys.
