Motor has no get up and go
1992 115 evinrude. Motor will run at idle and I had not been having any problem until I got back to the boat ramp on the last trip. When I went to neutral the motor shut off. Was able to restart without much problem and loaded and went home. Changed plugs, thought it might have fouled one and I have not changed in awhile. Before changing the plugs with the motor running on a hose I pulled each plug wire to see if I could narrow down the problem. With 3 of the wires when it was removed the motor would just about quit which is what I was looking to happen. The fouth wire there was no change in how the motor was running. After changing the plug the same results. Went to the lake to test and sure enough no power. It starts up alright and does not seem like it has a miss but not get up and go. I'm thinking a coil but not sure. Anyone have any ideal what is going on?

Coil is easy enuf ta check, just swap one that's firing with the one that's not. If the problem follows the coil, it,s bad, if not, probably power pack

I believe a 1992 115 has two power packs. If so, swap them around. If the dead cylindar follows the pack swap, buy a pack. Very seldom does a coil go bad. Bad packs are common. If the coil or pack doesn't solve the problem, the next step is to test the stator, and timer base. That's a little more complicated. But you can check the leads from the stator, and timer base, to the power packs with a multimeter.
All that said, if I were a betting man I'd say a pack.
