NFGFC October 6th Tournament Results

The October Tournament was held out of Rocky’s store and the weather was probably the best we’ve had all year.

James Padgett and Douglas Tran took 1ST place with 5 Trout weighing 12.68 lbs winning them $165.00. Their big trout weighed 4.68 lbs and won them $135.00. They also won the Combo side pot with a weight 10.05 lbs winning them $90. Great job!!!

2nd place team of Tony Sadler and Leada Sadler weighed 5 fish for a total of 12.55 lbs winning them $100.00. They also took home the $50.00 Meridian Surveying mystery fish with a Jack weighing 3.72 lbs.

3rd place team of Rick Bushatz, Brad Castleberry and Stephen Warnock weighed 5 fish for a total of 11.81 lbs winning them $65.00

The Redfish side pot was won by Steve Hobbs and David Langston and Brian Showman. Their Redfish weighed in at 6.82 lbs and won them $280.00.

The Kevin’s Fine Guns and Sporting Goods 50.00 Gift card went to the team of Jeff Trent, Chuck Collins and Steve Taylor for a whooping 3.52 lb flounder.

Wish I could of made it out to this one.. Unfortunately 2 Midterms kinda got in my way!!! Look out for me next year. I'm goin for angler of the year!!!

Placed midway through....but the good news is I didn't SINK this time and the new boat ran great.

We camped at Rocky's, then went back out on Sunday and caught 3 more limits of trout. Andrew got a 20" flounder, which is his best ever.
