Guns and Ammo Attn Cranfield

Post by Steve Stinson »

I found this quote on my Facebook page written by a retired land surveyor from Hillsborough Co. Florida who now lives in North Carolina I believe. This is not good - it sounds a lot like the system I've heard Cranfield on this forum describe being used over in England. They track your ammo purchases and if you don't use the ammo purchased, they reduce the amount you are allowed to puchase.

"Talked with the local sherrif yesterday. He agrees we are in for a rough ride over the 2nd ammendment. Said he understood that the feds had tied up contracts with all the major ammo producers in the guise for the military to get it off the market. When they start production again each shell will have serial type number and you will have to sign for it once you have paid an enormus price for it. They will then be able to track who bought it and how much they bought. Wake Up Anerica they are here to take your rights!"

Cranfield - Chime in here if you like.

Steve, you are right to be concerned. I know a lot of folks that think others are overreacting but the truth is, if you would have told my dad that you could have a conversation over a computer screen and see the person you were talking to, he would have said sure, when bread is a dollar a loaf. The point some are trying to make is that if the general public does not stick to their guns so to speak, there are those that would like to do away with our freedom to hunt, fish, and life in general as we know it today. If you think it can't happen thats OK with me, just don't look for the good ole boy to help you out when it does. I will be busy looking out for my family and loved ones. If they restrict gun and ammo sales some will say ok, then what is next?, Will they go after our fishing rights? I think they are trying to do that now, in a round about way. Don't know what the answer is but I will always know how to feed my family and friends regardless.
