West Marine Moving Sale

Post by lonesouth »

They have 50% off all clearance items. The biggest discount was on an 8" chart plotter originally $1,400, now $650, but there was only one. Didn't get the model or make, too big for my boat so I passed.

They will be moving to Apalache Parkway in may.

May 24th is the slated "official" open date. Employees said that they're hopeful they'll get the offer/chance to move to that store, but there have not been talks of it yet (good or bad).

Sale items are few and far between. Some are some yellowed out packaging/old items, some are some things that don't make much sense and then there are some that may be useful.

a few (literally, a few) hard plastics, some old bass assassin and gulp powerbait and worm soft plastics, a few shoes (columbia shoes, even), a couple electronics, etc.

Nothing really to note in the "sale" aspect, but I'm sure as they get closer they'll try and do a bigger "stock moving sale" and push some 10-25% off items.

Not worth a special trip just for the sale items, but worth a glance if you need to make a specific trip to the store itself.
