St Marks NWR - 27 May

Post by Zach »

Hello,

For the past couple of months I've been lurking around gaining a lot of insight from you guys on where and how to fish that I would have been hard pressed to obtain elsewhere. On Memorial Day, I wanted to get my feet wet and do some scouting with some new gear. Took the dikes behind the mounds pools off lighthouse rd back into the marsh on the rising tide. After leaving the road I didn't see a single person for 5+ hours—on Memorial Day...

This is my first redfish and first saltwater gamefish on the fly. It's pretty addicting.

Thanks for the info.
