LANARK SCALLOP 7/27/13

Got down to Lanark around 3:00 to find a long line of boats at the ramp. It went pretty smoothly though for as many people as there were. Word has it that there were 90 trailers in the parking lot at some point today. We got out and hit a pretty intense squall that came through. We had a tough time finding really decent numbers. Between four we only got about 3 gallons. However, the rain dirtied up the water pretty well and made it tough to see, then the sun got low and made it even harder.They really seemed to be down deep in the grass. Good trip, but not as good as my trip last week. It seems as though the pressure is finally starting to show.
