I've purchased 2 of these fine rods now from Capt Dave, aka Sk,and they are second to none in that price range. Would purchase this one if I weren't scratching up big change for a down payment on a new home. Thanks again,Capt.

Thanks for the testimonial, flatsbroke. Any interest from anyone else? An offer maybe?

I have a brand new rod in the same model without tags that I would sell for $145 instead. The lifetime warranty applies regardless.

A 4000 class reel could be used on these, but there's really no need. I caught snook up to 14 pounds on a companion combo with a 3000 Sustain (loaded with 15# PP) and the rod handled the power and several long runs of those fish just fine.

Great rods, great prices. Need to find a home for one of them to make room for the new ones.
