Launch Area on Aucilla River
Other than Mandalay, is there a reasonable kayak launch upstream of the 98 bridge?

Yup....there is a sign that says "BOAT RAMP" at east end of bridge.....follow sign

Never been there, but try Nutall Rise. After that the river goes underground for a bit. You may get a more informed response from the folks over at the Kayak website, www.fcka.net, although I am sure some folks here have been to that area.
