Calling all turkey hunters

Post by micci_man »

Any on here? I'm looking forward to the season. Kicking it off by taking my youngest daughter on a Beau Turner yout hunt on the 8th and then taking her to some private property the next morning. Can't wait...

We got a group of us fella's going down the weekend of March 15th and hunting a 10,000 acre wma in Florida. It ought to be a fun trip. We went down 2 years ago on some private land and struck out. Maybe we will have better luck this year.

Hearing the birds wake up in the morning. Have not heard many crows calling at my house, but they soon will. The trout are warming up on the flats and the turkey's minds are turning to love. Spring is around the corner. My pecan trees have not budded out yet, so we still have another frost coming. Can't wait for the thunderchickens to start squawking. Duck season was okay for variety, but lacked in numbers. Ready for the spring!
