Is it safe to say that one of the best times of the year has officially kicked off? I've been seeing some good reports and hopefully can get out there this coming weekend.

Wind is rocking the pines right now (Wednesday afternoon), but after the front passes through this weekend TWC says the wind will be calm for three or four days. How long does it take the sea to settle down after a northerly blow? Does Tuesday look like a good bet?

I bet this cold snap shuts us down for a few days... by end of the week things will get a little closer to normal.

The waves settle down in just a few hours. The clarity seem to be affected more by rainfall than anything else, as far as I can tell.
