What's happening down at Lanark, inshore?

I went to Lanark on Sunday. Ran out to Dog Island Reef first thing. There was life out there for sure. Trout,Spanish,jacks,lady's(of course) and lots of sharks. Lots of rays and sea turtles too. It was pretty out there. That was my first time. We took a break to swim at the island and then tried the flats around the backside and found a decent trout bite. Not much size but still fun. Water was pretty clear. Pinfish are out in force too.

don't know what is going on now but 2 weeks ago a little W of lanark the trout bite was strong. 3-5' of water cut pins and white gulp under a CT was the ticket. Only caught 3 cats, 1 shark and 6-7 ladyfish. 3 fish shy of a 4 man trout limit.
