evinrude/Johnson lower unit 1976 35hp

I have a 1976 35 hp evinrude that will jump out of forward under heavier loads. Full throttle and 3 guys in the boat or chopper conditions on the flats. Essentially everything else on the motor has been replaced in the last 5 years. Is there somewhere local where I can have the lower unit rebuilt or just pick up an already rebuilt one and hand them mine as a core? Thank you for any advice.

My old 25 was doing the same thing, took to porters in woodville and they fixed it right up. There is a spring thingy in the lower unit that was broke or missing.
