Shade tolerant food plots?

Post by fishing coach »

The land wasn't timbered like I had hoped it would've been because of the wet spring so now I'm hoping to bush hog and disc some of the third row cuts in the pines and plant long narrow food plots. Any suggestions on foliage that would be shade tolerant in these areas? Thanks

Send a soil sample to UF or somewhere to check the ph....I'm sure your going to want to start with tons of lime.
