Reds at St Marks 10-12-14

Post by pegleghooker »

A planned trip with my fishing buddy, Eugene. We met at the lighthouse at 6:15am. Moon was bright and skies clear. Left the landing at 6:45am. Fished several creeks until the tide left us. The fish were hungry. We managed to bring probably 10 reds to the boat.

We then ventured out to the flats. We caught quite a few sand trout out there. I have not caught sand trout on the flats before. We caught a few black sea bass and a small gag grouper. Grouper returned to grow big, of course.

Had a great day.
