1) do an internet search on "Old Club House Road Boat Ramp"
2) drive over there and take a look!

There are two ramps. The one closest to the gulf has a big drop off at the end of the ramp and I would not put a boat over 18' in at that ramp. Some buddies of mine talked me into putting my 24' proline in on that ramp and I'll never do that again. The other ramp up river, you can launch most any boat. Now the mouth of the river at this time of the year is very hard to get in and out of on low to mid tide in a boat that draws much water.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

The upper ramp is by far the better of the two as said on the previous post. Do be very careful around the mouth on a low tide or north wind. There are PVC markers at the mouth to indicate the channel. That being said it is usually not crowded and the fishing is good. I would go away from the mouth to catch the fish I eat...no matter how safe THEY say it is!

Thanks for the information. I usually fish Econfina but this area looks good on the maps.
I have an 18 ft. CC that draws about 10 in.

You only have to worry about the ones that have a nose and glow in the dark.

If you draft ten inches you should be good most of the time. Still pays to be careful.
