Oldest girl's first ducks

Post by micci_man »

Fun hunt and she had a great time. I'll never forget when she said "Dad, I got one?!?!?!". it took a few shot to get dialed in but she got the hang of it and wacked'em. She did all the shooting and out of 8 shots she killed her first 3 ducks, all flying and decoying.

Wow. Great shooting--she may be a natural. My daughter got her first at age 20. Took 3 boxes. But we all enjoyed it.

Can't beat that with a stick! I took my little girl the week before last. She shot at, but didn't kill anything. She said she wanted to learn to shot better, so we will see. Always enjoyed watching my kids hunt better than hunting myself!
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Congratulations to your daughter. That's awesome!

Neat monogram on her gun. Is there another picture of it?

I don't have another pic of it Danibeth. It's her initials so fancy they don't even look like the correct letters....I asked her why she wanted to go and ruin that gun's pretty wood for LOL.

Thanks. We went yesterday afternoon again and didn't pull the trigger. She got to experience both kinds of duck hunting. fast and furious and twiddling thumbs :-D We did see a group of about 40 white pelicans fly over. Don't get to see that too often.
