Is this a decent feeder?

Post by Atticus »

Looking for a broadcast feeder. Is there a batter one in this price range? Anyone using this or an alternative? Reports?

I like the Moultrie feeders over the Wildgame. Got mine from Walmart online for about the same price. They are the short ones so I can fill from the ground or back of pickup. Good controls easy to read and set up with good battery life. I added the Moultrie solar chargers, again ordered from Walmart for about $25 each. The chargers plug in and mount with two screws. Get the feeder with the varmit guard or the coons will empty it in just a few days. I have and use two Wildgame and three Moultrie's. One Moultrie is 5 years old and still going. They all stay out in the field throughout the year in Kansas.

Not if you have bears on your property, they will treat it like a piñata. :(
