About the Tournament:
This will be the 2nd Annual Price's Point Memorial Fishing Tournament. Price Thornal was a committed Christian, Eagle Scout and entrepreneur who loved fishing and boating with his family and friends at St Teresa Beach. We tragically lost Price to a car accident while he was returning home from college to visit his family for Easter weekend a couple years ago. We started this Tournament as a celebration of his life doing one of the things he loved most, fishing and to raise money to build a reef with OAR that would benefit future generations of young fisherman. With the funds raised from last years tournament we will be building a reef due south of Turkey Point just on the outside of Dog Island Reef in about 30 feet of water. This year we are going to fund a scholarship to benefit students at Leon High School, where three generations of his family have graduated.

Would you consider making the weigh in at 5:00 ? NFGFC tourney the same day

I'm thinking a resounding no Gulf Coast Shrimp. Sounds like an interesting tourney though.

After consideration, we will not be able to move the weigh in time back. We have a dinner and auction(which you can buy tickets to as well) after the tournament at The Seineyard @ Summer Camp and want to give all the volunteers and fisherman plenty of time between the weigh in and dinner to get cleaned up and finish setting up.

We are looking forward to a competitive tournament and welcome all who are willing to make both weigh ins. And again you must check in at the weigh in by 4:00 to have your fish weighed. If you have any questions, please give me a call @766-0874.

Just a reminder, the deadline to register for the tournament is tomorrow, Friday March 27th. We have about 20 boats signed up now with some fishing offshore and some inshore. Looking forward to a great tournament!
