Proline 17CC with 150 EFI

Post by procraftwes »

Boat is in great shape and used often. Aluminum single axle trailer, 150 Mariner 150 EFI(same as mercury/very fast), hydraulic steering, bimini top, Garmin fish finder, Brand new leaning post with backrest and rocket launcher pole holders, working baitwell, front fish box, and Dual batteries with switch.

Boat has a very deep V with a flat pad on the rear which means it cuts the chop like no other 17' boat and floats in less than a 1' of water. Fish the flats and offshore is done regularly. Its also very easy to launch/handle while alone.

The 150 is more than plenty of HP for this boat but since I have it propped for heavier loads(go with 4 people alot) it runs 50mph(gps) but with a larger pitch stainless prop it should run 55+. 50 is fast enough and it jumps on plane with no effort.

Recently replaced impeller, trailer bearings, spark plugs and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting.

Boat is water ready and needs nothing. Since the pictures I have polished/waxed the boat removing the darker stains on the hull and polished/waxed the engine. I also bought new plastic fenders which I haven't installed yet.

Issues... The bushing on the steering arm needs replacing causing the boat to wander a bit more than usual. I have the bushing somewhere but didn't get around to it. There's some corrosion on the steering arm like most mercury's ran in the salt. Porter marine said its a non issue and it will outlast the motor.

Only reason I'm selling is because I bought a larger boat.

$5,000 & I'm pretty firm on price for now.
