Fished in some creeks to the east and out on the flats a bit as well (only about 30 minutes).

Caught 6 rats. The tide just did not move much until very late in the day. Was higher than we thought when we got there. Caught one trout on the flats. Cut off a couple of Spanish. Moved back in to the creeks and finally got on some keeper reds. Caught 4 in about 30 minutes and had to head back in. It was my brother's birthday and my dad went to. Was nice to see some lower water temps. (we did better on our last trip and it was hotter!?!).

Rats caught on Gulp New Penny shad.
Keepers caught on white (different brands-all on jigs).
Not a bump on Spoon or Mirrolure.
Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?

Glad u got on some keepers. About same at panacea. A lot of rats around marsh grass and if u find em some keepers on pys bars. A keeper try. Here and maybe there on grassflats.I been fishing Panacea--st marks waters hard fr last 5.5 yes. This is the weakest spring summer and fall fr me for both try and reds. Really disappointing in the try. Department.
