Shrimp in Keaton?
Where is the best place to buy live shrimp now that the marina is closed?

We buy ours at Wilson's in Perry but want to check the shrimp house in Keaton. They have sold live shrimp.

Add a squirt of Pro-Cure shrimp gel and I'll bet they would be.flatsbroke22 wrote:Those are not deadly on Sheepshead

Go past the marina about 1/4 mile 2 story house on right with green trim across from shrimp dock on canal
I believe there is a sign out front. They sell shrimp

Fiddler crabs, they are free and the fish love them.
Re: Shrimp in Keaton?
The thickest fiddler crabs I ever saw were at Adams Beach. We saw thousands of them on the little strip of sand next to the water. I'd go there to look for them.

Thanks for the help with the shrimp. That's all I'm looking for atm. I know there are a lot of different baits for catching them but I do not have the time to go hunting for fiddlers and live shrimp is the next best thing imo.

I had great success with "plastic" shrimp......when I lived in south Florida.
Up here, not so much. Seems like the fish are spoiled on the real thing!
