Where to take kayak scalloping, looks like st joe is out of question

. You could launch at the beach at Keaton. They are usually some in front of campground and condos.

Scalloping is loads of fun to get out when it's hot and cool off. But, I would never think I'm getting much to eat from the trip. It's the catching and the snorkeling and the kids seeing critters.

I joke that the best thing one can do after a long day scalloping is to release them in a likely spot on the way in and then buy a bag at Publix. Same scallops, just frozen. And no guts and cleaning.
