Wade in scallops

Does anyone know of a general area where it would be realistic to wade and scallop?

Another place is the little beach in Keaton. I've never waded but I've found some this side of the channel markers. You should be able to get out there pretty good on low tide. I wouldn't expect any banner hauls without a boat no matter where you go though.

Adams beach is a lot closer to where the scallop fleet is usually at, I don't scallop and the $15/bag is a much better deal time and effort wise IMHO :-D but I would think that it would be a decent access assuming you can still get to it from Beach Rd.
