BEAR CREEK, OCHLOCKONEE RIVER,

Post by CAPTAIN CHARLIE »

Has anyone ever fished BEAR CREEK, across from the state park? There is a small lake off the creek chanel and I was told there are fish there but don't know what.

Thanks,

Charlie

I have fished for bream a few times there if you are talking about the creek on the left heading to the bridge. That creek takes you all the way down to just above where the main river dumps into bay. Didn't catch a whole lot of fish tho when I have been there. Would like to find an area up there somewhere to catch some nice bream. Been thinking I might try where the cutoff creek in front of the swimming area at the park goes over to the so choppy river and try that area, if you find them let me know
