St Marks 7-16

[SC High Tide]

Trout fished for about an hour at the beginning of the incoming tide in 7-9ft of water. Three short trout all on jigs and artificials. Floating grass was terrible and it was windier than I expected for 7 am. Wanted to look for bait on the surface but it was far too rough for that. Once the sun came up headed in and went scalloping. No trouble getting the limit there. Cleaned up and headed north by lunch time. Nice day on the water but there were plenty of storms dancing around by the time we left.
