Scalloping Question

Scalloping Question,

I have scalloped past Grey Mare Rock, but has anyone ever tried to the scallop to the right side of the mouth of the St Marks River towards Pine Oak Island?

I was stranded out there several years ago and walked all over the flat while I was stuck. I found about 8 scallops then. I have not been back to look for them since then.

I never see anyone over there scalloping so its probably safe to assume there are not many there, but thanks for the response

Look at google earth and you can see a dome shape. That can get very shallow on low tide. I have been over there but few scallops when I went.

I agree with Redbelly, have tried around live oak reef and found only a few scallops. The rock garden is the place to go.
