Franchi I-12 12ga Semi-auto & Investarm Model 100 28ga O/U

Post by Southern Hooker »

Aside from a couple of hunts at the coast (where I take my Remington 870), I have not shot birds in several years. Just looking to move these to turn into fishing gear. The Franchi is in very good condition. I may be missing one of the 5 factory chokes for it but also have an aftermarket skeet choke. It cycles duck loads with zero issues but will sometimes jam on a cheap wal-mart target load. I've read that the more you use it, the better it cycles light-cheap loads. I bought it brand new from Kevin's and never used it a lot, maybe a few 3-volley skyblasts the couple times a season I used to duck hunt + a few skeet shoots. The Investarm is an Italian brand that is/was only imported by one company in the northeast. It started having misfires on one chamber and I stuck it in the safe to eventually take to a gunsmith but never got around to it.

Franchi - The Franchi I-12 represents a new line of Franchi auto-loaders by incorporating a free-floating bolt with the Inertia Driven System. The I-12 is well-balanced, and features a narrow-profile fore-end and buttstock. This Franchi shotgun will handle anything from 1-1/8-ounce target loads to the heaviest 3" magnums. Every I-12 Franchi shotgun is powered by the Inertia Driven System. That means no bulky gas cylinders, valves, pistons, or hardware. Without that extra baggage, the I-12 has a slender, low-profile fore-end that fits the shooter's hand for comfortable handling. The I-12's specially-designed recoil pad incorporates a two-part system called the Twin Shock Absorber. During firing, the TSA recoil pad initially holds its shape, and then deeply compresses with the recoil, soaking up the kick and spreading recoil energy over a wider area of the shooter's shoulder, reducing felt recoil by up to 44%. The I-12 in Max-4 HD is an ideal choice as a waterfowl gun. This variant also features a 28-inch ventilated rib barrel, and a red-bar front sight and includes a set of screw-in choke tubes.

Investarm - Over and under folding shotgun, available in 12, 20, 28 and .410 gauge and caliber 8 mm, and also in the following gauce combinations: 20/410, 28/410, 8/20, 8/28, 8/410 and 20/28. Barrells length 710 mm (28"), internally chromed; flat ventilated 7 mm rib; drop shape bead; 65 or 76 mm (2 ½" or 3") chamber; normal extractors; special steel frame, dull chromed or blued; transversal locking bolt engaging the bottom lug; coil spring operated firing mechanism; single or double trigger; manual or automatic safety; beech wood pistol grip stock with or without sling swivels; schnabel forend; plastic recoil pad.
