another good day fishing 6-10

we had a good day on the water again today the fishing was so so no keepers for supper today
but we did catch and release a bunch of short fish trout and BSB
all n all it was good day on the water with my wife

Definitely had to work for 'em today. Some shorts (trout & BSB), 1 keeper trout, and my first bluefish of the season.
A bit choppy for the little jonboat, esp in the 6-8 foot water where the fish wanted to be, but water was clear with a bit of floating weeds.
Beautiful full moon just before the sunrise, so all in all a good day on the water.

We had to move a lot, but ended up with 9 trout and 5 Spanish between the 4 of us. Did catch a bonus cobia which made the day.

We ended up with 8 keeper trout. These were bigger fish than last few trips. Not to many shorts but plenty of bsb.
Weather was great and we had a good time. My 10 year old caught a few of everything but a catfish. He was going for a kids slam. He did get to fight with about 4 shark.
