Opening day of scallop season Keaton beach.

Post by Hit-n-Miss »

Good News!!! For the fishermen. We found no scallops at Adams no scallops at Dekle and none at Keaton. The only ones we did find were at Grassy. And we got less than a gallon(3 people). Oh and one trout. On the boat with my family is way better than working. Hope St Marks is better in a few weeks.

Dang man hate to hear that's how the day went. I saw on some folks pages on Facebook that they were doing good in Steinhatchee. How deep were you?

. Deepest was 5-6' must be a ways further south than Grassy. I heard some saying 10' deep.

Sad to hear that. Hopefully it's not a sign of a light season. We fished econfina last week and saw quite a few in the grass. Maybe they came in further west?
NOAA reports are the reason I have trust issues.

Image. The meats we got were end of thumb big. I'm getting ready to make scallop and fish jambalaya.
