Is there such a thing as a hard bait lure that looks more like a shrimp than the jig and grub, thing? The mirro-lure gizmo looks like a bait fish, to me. And I can't recall (not knowing Jack, Chalk or Tin can!) a hard lure that looks like a pinfish!

Yes to both. DOA makes a shrimp imitation that is widely sold and used. They also make a plastic lure that looks like a little pinfish but I don't see tit much. The shrimp DOA works great, just throw and work it in SLOW, than even slower....
