Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
Seeking two applicants to operate the hunter check station on Joe Budd Wildlife Management Area located in Gadsden County, Florida (approximately 12 miles west of the Tallahassee, FL). This position is ideal for a local college student, retiree, or resident interested in a side job. It is also a good opportunity for students studying natural resource management, wildlife law enforcement, or wildlife biology. Applicants should already have their own housing and reliable transportation.

Full/part time hours--must be able to work all or most scheduled hunt dates.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED
Write legibly and record data accurately
Work independently once trained
Must be comfortable working with hunters/other public users and collecting samples from harvested animals such as deer, feral hog, and turkey (brain tissue, jaw bones, ticks, blood etc.)
Must be able to work early mornings through late evenings (1 hour before sunrise to 1 hour after sunset) Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Provide own reliable transportation and cell phone. Pay rate: $9.00 per hour
