Thanks for the reminder, glad to have served, 67-70 not to many care any more about the vet or the well fare of the country or the flag for that matter. Still the greatest place on earth. USA.JIm Smith wrote:Here' to all you who are vets ,thank you for your service

34 years Army and I like to think I'm still patriotic.

Re: Vets
My thanks to those who served to keep our country free! Y'all wrote a check with your life to stand for what you believed in! I remember my late father, an army veteran who fought in the South Pacific to defeat Japan and friends who served in Vietnam, Kuwait and Iraq.

Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Re: Vets
Here is a THANK YOU to all the vets out there from me and my family. Not always easy being away from family for months at a time, but, I would not change anything.

USAF 01/1973 - 12/1976
Lackland AFB, TX
Keesler AFB, MS
Ellsworth AFB, SD
I was fortunate enough to get USAF training on servicing and supporting computer systems, primitive as they were at that time, and turned it into a career in IT.
Many of the locals did not show us respect in that era. Happy to see the military better appreciated today.
