What are those black and white spotted minnows in freshwater

I’ve seen them all my life at Goose Pasture and occasionally at other places that are grassy, quiet and still. That isn’t exactly Goose Pasture anymore and I haven’t seen 1 of those minnows in a while. There would often be 1 of them in a group of regular minnows. You never seen more than 1 anywhere but you always saw 1 in a group it seemed like.

those are wild black speckled mollys.Aquariests bred them into the all black mollys you see in aquariums.

I can’t believe I couldn’t find a picture of a wild one anywhere on the whole internet!
