I’ve never heard of that brand and had to look it up. That’s an excellent price for that reel used, but even better new. It’s an ugly sob to me, but someone will like it and get a super deal. Glws

I had to look it up too and I agree, it's ugly but priced right.

It’s a great reel, but honestly not my favorite color. I have too many of the same size/rating.

Quite a bit
For folks casting lures a long way all day, it makes a difference. Especially in regards to weight.

I'm probably biased, as the one reel over $200 I've owned (won in the CCA tourney) was very nice, but did not outperform some budget Shimanos (at least while I was tossing Chug Bugs and light jigs).

Now, regarding rods, for me that's a whole nuther story. BIG performance difference between cheapos and moderately priced ones.

See how the $200 reel looks and performs next to the cheepo in 5-10 years. Personally I like quality rods( with a good warranty), reels ( smooth and silent),line, lures etc.. maybe not top of the line ( Stella), but good quality ( stradic, saltist). Opinions will vary. Lots of fish caught w cheaper and more expensive stuff. The fish don’t care, just angler preference.

I've found my personal sweet spot around $90 to $100. The Shimano Nasci seems a lot smoother and is holding up better than the Sahara or Sedona. DaiwaBG is also in that range, is smooth and takes abuse.
But I have been pleasantly surprised by how well my $50 Pflueger President ultralight is holding up.
