Another Name that Fish
We caught this on the east flats today and could help identifying it. My guess is juvenile Cobia my friend says no way. Thank you in advance.

Looks like a remora to me. That pad is the giveaway.

You could also call it a boomerang fish. You can throw them back and catch them over and over again. Lol.

When we catch one with a young un on the boat, I give them a light tap to the side of the boat on the top of the head and a lot of times they will stick to it for a second or two. Always makes the little uns smile.
Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?
