Battery Charger fixed muh Power problems on the boat.

Post by mojokoko »

Well since I am a new boat owner I will make mistakes time to time.
It turns out my cranking battery was almost gone so I bought a Guest ChargePro 2612a and was able to get both batteries up and going.
I do have a question about keeping gps/fishfinder power connectors from going bad. Is there a good was to keep them from corroding like putting eletrical tape around the connectors to keep from getting saltwater in there.

Coat them with liquid electrical tape let it dry then heat shrink the connections.

"Connections", as you stated, can be sprayed with white lithium grease to keep them from corroding.
