Oyster Bay-Spring Creek November 27, 2004

Post by 2true »

Chilly Willy :o

Head out to Oyster Bay MEGA LOW TIDE. :-?

Worked the beds and pushed the boat. Umm Yeaahhh were gonna need you to move the boat......

Nothing. Notta. Negative Ghost rider. :(

Come in a little and drift a hole. My buddy gets a keeper flounder.

Come in closer to Spring Creek. Still nothing.

Even Closer still. hit a hole and start getting bites. My buddy boats a 16 inch red. ;-)

Starts raining. Can the day get any worse? :hammer:

Head in closer to the spring and anchor. Start getting bites. Catch alot of short trouts.

Then we start pulling in the Mangrove snapper catch one keeper. It starts pouring. Still catching. By this time I am a popsicle. Head in with a keeper flounder and mangrove snapper. :lick:

Beautiful out there but cold and windy and rainy. :-?

Thanks for the report. Even though it was cold and wet, you still caught a couple for the table. Nice report.

Sounds like one of those, 'Wish we had stayed home' days.
Yesterday PM looked real good, but I was trying to get everything in order from the migration south, didn't get out there.
Now, with the negative rpts of the weekend, wondering, if I should just stay home and start working on changing my lp furnance over to a heatpump (dread, dread).
