I’ve had good luck this year trying to get those elusive , hard fighting triple tail dialed in. It involves a lot of runnning and gunning, hence why I ran out of gas last time out.

. I always let my guest have first shot at the target, then I’ll throw behind him. We had already boated a couple when we saw what looked like a BIG fish. Guest puts his bait right on the target, the spooked TT made so much commotion , I’d thought that spot was done. Always heard some folks get 2, maybe 3 TT off one bouy ,so we made couple more cast. I’m using a sliding float with bout 18-20” leader, and my float stopped moving in the current??? I took up what little slack there was and bang , there was that big TT with my bait, a large chunk of fresh dead shrimp. Let me tell you when he got hooked, the battle started. That fish fought like crazy trying to get back to that bouy. Finally got him into the net, 10.7lbs worth !!. Dang , what a fun fish to catch and eat!! Please note my new Fish’n hat in one of the pictures , since JBuffet has passed, I’ll be using it a lot more, and you BIGBENDFISHER folks should do the same.
