2025 Rock The Dock - looking for a boat

Post by JoeA »

Hi,
I was in Panacea for the Blue Crab festival recently and saw signs for the upcoming Rock The Dock tournament. If anyone's trying to fill a boat, let me know. I'll help with the registration fee, gas and some ice. I have experience working offshore on commercial fishing vessels, a good bit of trolling and some bottomfishing out of Hawai'i. I know the tournament is a ways off, but it's good to plan early.
Me...58yo, I don't drink alcohol on the water, I live outside of Monticello and I had a marine safety instructor certificate for 20+ yrs, for NOAA. I fished of Econfina and St. Marks once, a few years ago for trout. Fun times, and good eating. I'm looking forward to meeting folks in the local fishing community.

You can try attending the North Florida Gulf Fishing Club meetings and introduce yourself. There are a lot of good folks there and you might meet someone looking for a fishing partner.
