Saturday was another exceptional day at Lanark catching redfish in skinny water. With the fog thick and NE winds a blowin we left the ramp at about 7:30. Loaded with gold spoons, live shrimp, finger mullet, and an assortment of flies. We started where we found the fish two weeks ago on the same extremely low tide. We fished in 8 to 15 inches of water throughout the morning and managed 8 very nice reds and one 4lb bluefish, the largest was just under ten pounds and was over the slot. All fish were taken on gold spoons. Even though the water was gin clear, the fish were difficult to see due to the clouds and light chop. Fortunately, they were also less weary of the 17' Silverking with the three content anglers on board.
